Step 1. Warming up (热身复习）
T: Good morning, boys and girls!
Ss: Good morning, Miss Hong.
T: Sit down, please. How are you today?
Ss: I am fine, thank you. And you?
T: I am fine too. Thank you! Firstly, let’s have a free talk.Do you remember your city five years ago?
A: Yes,the house was old and small.
B:The city was poor.

T: Great! Today we are going to have a comprasion between past and now.
【设计意图】：师生互致问候，全班自由讨论五年前城市的模样，可以帮助学生回顾相关的语言知识，例如：一般过去时的用法、常用词汇等，为后面的教学做铺垫。通过过去与现在的对比，强烈激发学生的学习兴趣。
Step2. Leading in (课文导入）
T: Today we are going to learn Module 1 Unit1 We lived in a small house. Firstly, please look at the pictures. What can you see in these two pictures? 直接出示本课课题，再请多名学生就课件中的多组图片进行对比，引出本课的主题 “change”，并贴出 “change” 的单词卡，并进行带读和讲解。
Step3. Text learning （课文学习）
1. 听录音，找出本课新单词。
T: Please listen to the radio, for the first time please find out the new words and circle them out on the book.
教授新单词，出示 life 的单词卡片，教师示范life ↗. life ↗ life ↘ 学生跟读。师生共同完成游戏 say the word in one breath，教师示范学生模仿一口气说出尽可能多的life 这个单词，坚持到最后的学生获胜。教授新单词 lady，出示两位女士的照片，请学生观察图片。
T: OK, look here. What can you see? （指着图片问）
T: Yes, it’s an woman. But today we also can call her lady.（重读且慢读） 出示单词 “lady”，带领学生读。
教授新单词 program。出示一组电视节目的图片，鼓励学生用中文说出图片中的电视节目，顺势引出 “program”，运用自然拼读法带读这个单词。
教师新单词 ago, it means before，以前，it always used with the past tense. If you want to say 两天以前，you can say “two days ago” （重读且慢读），出示课件，鼓励学生运用 ago 说出三个短语。师生运用大小声的游戏来操练这个单词。
教授新单词 interviewer。出示照片，鼓励学生用中文说出记者，顺势出示单词 “interviewer”。
T: interviewer ↗ interviewer ↗ interviewer ↘ 学生跟读。
