Teaching Process:
Step 1: Warming up
Greetings: Good morning boys and girls. What day is it today? How are you feeling today?
Listen to the chant and do the actions.
Step 2: Presentation
Read the chant and review the body words. Then show the title of Unite 6 Body. (Read it for several times.)
Show the pictures of body one by one and teach and drill them. The teacher draws the body parts of pleasant goat on the blackboard and notes the words. Here pay attention to the pronunciations of ‘mouth’ and ‘teeth’. And distinguish the singular and plural forms of ‘toes’ ‘teeth’ ‘legs’ ‘feet’ ‘ears’ ‘arms’.
PPT shows the flash: A girl points her body parts and says the words. Then SS point to the parts as quickly as possible. Then practice in pairs..
Do the body language to show the verbs: ‘shake, touch, open, show’ and drill them. Then the phrases ‘Touch your…’ ‘Shake your...’ ‘Show your…’ ‘Open your…’
Step 3: practice
Listen to the song and point to the pictures.
Listen again and do the actions.
Colour the frames of pictures.
Sing the song and do the actions.
Step 4: Consolidation
Pair work--- Say and do the actions
Rules: One student say the order and the other student do the actions, then exchanger the order.
Touch your face/feet/ears/nose.
Shake your hair/arms/legs.
Open your mouth.
Show your teeth.
Step 5: Homework
Write the words in the boxes on page 45 part3.
Learn other body words.
