1、 Let the children look at the pictures of the show time , pay attention to the dialogues . Then read the sentence and match it with the correct picture.

2、 Tell them I will invite four people to act the story .

3、 Give them some masks , let them put on and act the charactors .

二、 Present the picture

1、T: Look , this is my desk . My pencil case is blue . My pen is green .My book is red…

2、 T:Two people as a team, talk about the colors of your goods on the desk.

3 、T: You two ,come here to perform please.

三 、 Let ’ s chant

1、Tell the students that we ’ll learn a chant . Let them look at the picture of the copy .T:What can you see in the picture ? Elicit, a bird ,a nest, a mouse and a house . What is the chant about ?Elicit,’about house’.

2、 Ask the students where the bird lives in .Elicit’,a nest ‘. Then ask what about the mouse.Elicit,’a house’. Now ask them ’’Do they love their houses?’’

Elicit’’ Yes,they do.’’

3、 Tell them I’ ll play the record of the whole rhyme .Let them listen and point to each word .

4、 Play again and make the students join in .Hum or clap with their hands.

5 、Play again and tell the students to do some actions to act the chant .

6、 Tell them to listen again and find the words with the beginning of L M N ,Let them

draw lines under these words and think about their pronounciation .

四、 Culture corner

1、 Let the pupils look at each picture,ask them what it is and which country it belongs.

Elicit ’’post box ,telephone booth ,bus ,fire truck, they are belong the UK.’’

2、 Ask them what color they are in China.

五、 Read and color

1 、Draw a bird and ask them what it is.Elicit ‘a bird’.Repeat the procedure for bear ,duck ,rabbit and flower.

2、 Then tell them to open their books,turn to page 47 ,point to each creature in turn and say its correct name.

3、 Let them pay attention to the bottom of the page ,read the sentences aloud .Then trace over the word red with a red pencil , and color the bird red .Then repeat the procedure for the other sentences and pictures.

六 、 Set homework

Explain to the children that I want to set some homework :

1、 sing the rhyme to their families.

2 、show the pictures on the page to their families and tell them the English names for the animals and colors.
