Students in Grade 3 are very active and like playing games very much. So the games based on the language in the text just meet their taste.

教学重难点：

重点: Students will be able to understand, read and show the story

难点: Students will be able to use “Who’s that…? He’s/She’s…” in the context.

Step 1. Warm up

T: Class begins, good morning boys and girls. Today let’s first play a game: I say you say.

For example, I say yes, you say ... Ss: no

I say up, you say... Ss: down

I say open, you say... Ss: close

(设计意图: 用对答的形式活跃了气氛，帮助孩子理解接下来游戏的规则。)

T: Very good! Now let’s do it.

I say he, you say ... Ss: she

I say this, you say... Ss: that

T: I say uncle, who can spell uncle?

S: U-n-c-l-e

(设计意图: 出现本课相关单词后，增设拼写环节，做到单词的四会要求。)

T: I say uncle, you say...

Ss: Aunt.

T: Great. Who can spell aunt?

S: A-u-n-t.

T: Now here’s a chant for you. Listen to me carefully:

(设计意图: 朗朗上口的chant是孩子们喜欢的形式，同时起到了单词巩固的作用。)

T: Now let’s say it together.
