Step 2 Revision ( 3 minutes )

1. Review the conception and the structure of the attributive clause.

2. Review how to use the relative pronoun (who, whom, that, which, whose) and the relative adverb ( where, when, why).

Step 3 Practice ( 9 minutes )

Ask and answer.

Questions are about the common rules of the relative pronoun.

Have a quiz and correct it by asking students to exchange their worksheets with their partners.

Questions are about the special rules of the relative pronoun.

Step 4 Play a game ( 6 minutes)

1. The rules of the game: 选择其中一个数字,在规定时间内答对问题,将根据题目的难度不同,获取不同的分值。个别难度较大的题目可以有额外的一点思考时间。

2. Questions are about the common and special rules of the relative pronoun and the common and special rules of the relative adverb.

Step 5 Talent show ( 7 minutes)

1. Make a conversation with your partner with at least two attributive clauses. ( Prepared task )

2. Topics:

Situation 1:Two people waiting in line to buy a ticket to a concert

(Talk about the music, songs and singers)

Situation 2:Two people waiting in line to buy a ticket to a movie.

(Talk about the movies, movie stars and directors)

Step 6 Listening: Watch a video ( 5 minutes)

Students will have 30 seconds to look at the questions.

Listen to the interview carefully twice.
