Students will learn the expressions about the quality.

Students will understand and grasp language focus of the passage.

2. Ability aim:

Students’ reading, writing and speaking skills will be improved.

3. Emotional aim:

Students will learn English happily and actively, and won’t be afraid of speaking English in the classroom.

II.Key point and difficulty:

1. To help the students clearly understand the meanings of adjectives, and know how to use them.

2.To help them improve their reading, writing and speaking skills.

III.Teaching procedures

Step 1 Lead-in

Teacher will ask students to talk about themselves. Students need to finish a table alone. (Age, appearance, interests\hobbies, enjoy\like, ambition…)

Step 2 Pre-task

Teacher will tell the students about the format of a letter, and let the students do the task.

Step 3 While-task

Students need to work in pairs to answer the questions. Then they need to share to the whole class.

Step 4 Pro-task

Teacher will ask students to write the letter alone, and they need to read their letter.

Step 5 Summary and homework

Teacher will ask students about what they have learned in this class and tell them the homework.
