札记 Step 1: Lead-in: Noun+’s to express the idea of belonging.

Take one pen on the desk and ask ss: “Whose pen is this?”

Take another thing on the desk and ask ss again “Whose xx is this?”

And show some pictures of school things on PPT and ask again…

Step2: Let Ss learn to use Noun+’s to express the idea of belonging.

1) Show the definition and usage of the Noun+’s and show some examples for Ss to understand better.

2) Ask some questions, such as “What is difference from the two usages?” , “How do you understand the definition?” and so on.

Think and say out “This pen is XXX’s.”

“This xx is XX’s.”

Think and answer questions.

Read together and then make examples with each other.

1)Give Ss 8minutes to practice the exercises about Noun+’s on their study paper first.

2)Then check answers together or ask some Ss to answer in class.

3)Let Ss summary the usage of the Noun+’s.

Step4: teach Ss understand Possessive adjectives and pronouns to express the idea of belonging----Things for someone

“Whose books are these?”
