授课受众为七年级学生，针对初始年级学生活泼好动、基础薄弱、适应性低及容易对英语阅读产生畏难情绪等特点。除了需要打好学生英语阅读学习能力的基础，掌握英语阅读的方法，能够通过阅读获取主要信息，并能够用英语解决部分问题，更重要的是要培养其对英语阅读的兴趣，掌握阅读技巧，为将来高年级学习大量英语阅读文本做准备。本节课的主要目的是利用新版希沃白板5制作课件并授课，更好的开展英语阅读课堂互动，与传统的阅读教学模式相融合，激发学生阅读兴趣，通过阅读解决问题，并与小组合作探究形式相结合，为英语阅读教学提供新载体、新思路。
教材分析
本节阅读课选取的文本是Unit 8,Topic 3,Section B中的Christmas。阅读材料内容较简单，结构明了，其中包含重点词汇8个，重点短语7个，重点句型2个，字数约150词。本节课的重难点是要求学生通过阅读获取信息，分析文本结构，理清文本思路，并能够最终输出内容，提升复述能力。
