2. Ability objectives:

By the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:

1.listen, speak, read and get to know the meaning of the word “dog” ;

2. listen, speak, read and write the letter “Dd” ;

3. introduce friends in English by using “This is my friend…”.

4. greet each other by using sentences “How are you? I’m fine, thanks.”.

3. Focus of the lesson:

1.To know the meaning of the whole dialogue;

2. Students can role play the dialogue with the right pronunciation, intonation and sentence stress. How are you? I’m fine, thanks. This is my friend… Nice to meet you.

4. Predicted area of difficulty:

1. Students can write the standard letter “Dd”

2. Students can pronounce the words “this, friend” correctly;

3. Students can use “This is my friend. How are you? I’m fine, thanks. ” in proper situation.

四、Teaching Procedures

Step I : Lead- in

1.Greeting T: (师向生招手) Hi, boys and girls!/ Hello, everyone! Ss: Hi!/ Hello, Miss Dong!

2.Listen to a song “Hello song”。Students try to listen and sing along.

设计意图:通过师生打招呼来复习学过的问候语并通过听歌曲来激发学生的学习兴趣,同时为下面的新知识作铺垫。

StepII : Presentation

T: Now let’s sing the Hello Song again, then answer my questions. (T play the video again)

(after the song) T: Who knows how they greet each other in the song?(师用汉语辅助理解)
