Step1.Leading-in

Free talk: T: Do you like travelling ? Did you go travelling during Spring Festival? Where did you visit? Do you have a plan for a trip during the summer holiday?

Step2.Reading

First reading:

Tell Ss to read passage1 quickly and choose “T” or “F”.

Summer holiday is coming .I plan to travel to Hainan Island with my family. We will fly to Sanya. We will stay at a beach-side hotel for a week. The beaches in Sanya are very beautiful. The sky is blue, the air is fresh and the water is clean. In the morning we will swim in the sea and enjoy the sunshine. We are going to take a good rest in the afternoon. In the evening we will sit on the beach and listen to music under the stars. Of course we will visit the Ends of the Earth(天涯海角). It’s a famous place. After that I’d like to visit the Butterfly Valley. I will take many photos of butterflies there. What a great trip!

During the summer holiday I plan to visit Guangzhou by underground with my friends .We will visit the Six Banyan Temple(六榕寺), Ancestral Temple of the Chen Family, Zhenhai Tower(镇海楼) and so on .We want to understand the history of Guangzhou . And we will also visit Guangzhou TV Tower and Guangdong Art Museum. The TV tower is high and modern . It’s very colourful in the night sky. And we are going to take a boat trip on the Pearl River in order to(为了) enjoy the beautiful scenery on both sides of the river. I am looking forward to my holiday. I can’t wait!
