I. Teaching material:

鲁科五?四学制2011课标版 English Book Ⅳ Unit 5 Shopping Lesson 4 Again, please!

Ⅱ. Analysis of the lesson:

This lesson is the fourth lesson of Unit 5. It is a kind of consolidation and practice. The students have learned how to go shopping in English in Lesson1,Lesson 2 and Lesson 3. The main purpose of lesson 4 is to help students to talk about shopping more fluently and develop their comprehensive language competence.

Ⅲ. Analysis of the learners:

Students of Grade Four are still interested in learning English. They are active in class and eager to express their opinions. From lesson 1 to lesson 3, they have learned how to talk about shopping. It’s not difficult for them to do the activities about shopping in this class. But it is really a challenge for them to read the three shopping stories and act them out.

Ⅳ. Teaching goals:

1. Knowledge goal: 1) All the students can imitate the dialogue and make a role play. 2) All the students can use the following sentences to talk about shopping fluently: “Can I help you?” “I’d like a toy, please.” “Excuse me. Do you have schoolbags?” “Yes, we do.” “Sorry, we don’t.” “How much is this shirt?”” It’s one hundred yuan.” “How much are they?” “They’re fifty-eight yuan.” “ I’ll take it. ”3) All the students can read the words with fl,pl,ea and find out the spelling rules.

2. Ability goal: 1) All the students can go shopping in English. 2)Most of the students can read and act the three shopping stories, and can understand the shopping tips. 3) Most of the students can read aloud simple words according to spelling rules.

3. Emotion goal: Establish?rational?consumption?of?students’ view.

Ⅴ. Key points and difficult points

1. Key point:Use the words and phrases to talk about shopping.

2. Difficult point: How to ask and answer” How much is…?” “How much are…?”.

Ⅵ.Teaching Preparation

Teacher: PPT; Draw two shopping cart on the blackboard

Students: prepare goods what they will sell in the class; try to learn the song by themselves.
