本课以Elapsed Time为主题，将数学中钟表的教学和英语中时间的教学有机结合在一起，实现知识和思维在两个学科之间的碰撞和互补，引导学生用英语将学到的数学知识进行梳理、巩固和创新。

二、学生情况分析

考虑到全英文教学对学生英语水平的要求，本节课的学生对象是六年级的学生。六年级上学期的学生已经会用英语表达时间，并且对有关时间单位有一些了解。同时，他们积累了一定的英语基础知识和基本技能，有一些英语学习策略，喜欢小组合作，喜欢与他人探讨问题。大部分学生对英语学习有着浓厚的兴趣。

三、教学目标

1.能正确读出和理解生词：hour, minute, elapsed, start, end, last,

2.能说出各个时间单位。

3.能辨别A.M.和P.M.。

4.能用所学语言谈论和计算经过时间。

3. Review numbers.

Activity: Skip counting: Skip count to find the missing numbers.

Activity1: Change units of time.
