2. 学生能够在情境中运用Who is the strongest in the world? I think… I can…What a surprise!…is stronger than…. All the…, except…,sang and danced.

3. 学生能够通过多次表演进行故事的学习和体验;

4. 学生能够通过有效提问促进思维能力发展;

5. 学生能够依托文本渗透的情感教育增强自主感悟。

三、教学重点

1. 感知故事情节,朗读故事;

2. 在语境中初步了解形容词比较级、最高级的用法;

3. 理解寓言故事的寓意。

四、教学难点

1.生词及词组较多,会造成一定的阅读障碍;

2.句子All the…, except…的运用;

3.学生对故事的自主感悟。

Teaching Process:

Warm up: A video “Who is strong?”(Stick “strong” on the blackboard)

Q: Who is strong in the story?(ppt1)

Who is stronger than the sun? Why?(ppt2)

(Stick “strong” on the blackboard, and write -er next to the word)

Step 1:Lead in: Debate

T: Now here come five objects. They all want to be the strongest. You will choose one item and stand on their sides. Try your best to persuade others that your item is the strongest.

1> Each student get a note in a group. Then talk about their item’s ability. (Stick all the pictures on the blackboard.)
