T: What do you know from the film?

[设计意图]通过观看学校社团活动的微视频,在熟悉的场景和欢快的节奏中,让学生初步感知爱好的表达,引导学生积极主动思考,激活学生的相关语言知识,对视频内容进行一个反馈,激发学生的学习的兴趣。

Step 2 While-reading(自主阅读,提升能力)

Watch and choose.

T: Mike’s school has a lot of clubs, too. He is recommending himself and his friends to his school clubs. What does he say? Let’s have a look.

[设计意图]观看课文动画,整体呈现文本内容,让学生初步理解文本大意。

Look and say.

T: Look! Here are some pictures about Mike’s hobbies, but some of them are not. Do you remember? Have a try!

Now if you are Mike, can you introduce your hobbies?

学生汇报并适时纠正语言, you should say: I like doing…

3. Read and circle.

T: They are Mike’s hobbies. What about his friends’?

Here’re some pictures, some are their hobbies, some are not. Please open your books at P36, Let’s read the story quickly and circle their hobbies by yourselves.

[设计意图]快速阅读课文,从整体上把握课文脉络,理解课文大意,找出与Liu Tao,Yang Ling等人爱好相对应的图片。

4. Read and discuss.

T: Do you want to know more about them?

Here’re some ideas about Mike and his friends. Let’s go on reading and discuss in groups. If you agree, please give a smiling face, if you don’t agree, please give a crying face.

[设计意图]小组合作,精读课文,促进学生阅读理解能力的提高。

Step 3 Post-reading(联系实际,情境操练)

Try to retell.

T: Now if you are Mike, can you introduce your hobbies to us? And choose one of your friends, tell us his/her hobbies. Thinking map may help you! Work in pairs and try to retell.

Try to say.

T: Good job! Now I have good news for you! Our school club is recruiting. (出示社团招募海报) We have Dancing Club…Do you want to join them? You can recommend yourself, you can also recommend your friends!
