Step1.Warming up

T: Good morning, boys and girls. We learned a lot of signs in Unit5,What sighs do you know?

S1: No littering,No eating or drinking...

T: Ok, now, let’s play a game,when you see the signs, all of us say the name of the sign, and I will ask 2Ss to ask and answer the meaning of the sign.

S2: What does it mean?

Ss: It means...

T: Great, you did good job! Look at our old friends Bobby and Sam, they see a lot of signs in the forests, too. Guess, what are they doing?

Ss: They are going on an outing with them. (呈现go on an outing句型,并给出英文含义选项) So,what does go on an outing mean? It means stay at home or go out and play?

Ss: Choose B, go out and play.

T: Great. Look,Where are they going for the outing?(出示森林背景)

Ss: They are in the forest.

T:Yes, in the forest, they see a lot of signs. So, what sighs do you know? And what does the signs mean? Please use‘It means...’to answer when you see the sighs go quickly.

S1:It means … S2:The sign means …

Step2. Culture time

T:Well done! You know so many signs, now, look at these signs, where can we put them?

Ss: We can put them in the school. We can put them in the library. Ss:...?(呈现地铁上出现的这些标志,引导学生说出在metro上能看见这些标志)

S1: We can put them on the metro.(出示地铁和地铁标志,引导学生说出是南京地铁的标志)

T: This is the metro sign of Nanjing. In different areas, there are different metro signs.(出示不同城市的地铁标志)In different areas, there are different metro names too.(引出不同地区地铁的名称,出示英国国家的地铁标志和国家特征,引导学生说出国家)T: Do you know this?

Ss: It’s Big Ben. It’s in the UK.

T: In the UK, people call the metro...Let’s listen and say.

In the UK, people call the metro _________.并拓展世界第一条地铁出现在伦敦,伦敦有世界上最长最好的地铁。
