Students will answer some questions about the first part they read. 翻转课堂 检测学生获取信息的情况;内化学生所读内容 （8’） Prediction Get them to make a guess of what the First Lady is going to talk about next? Students think about it and try their best to predict it. 为下面听力活动做铺垫 （3’） The First Listening Get them to watch the video and get the main idea / the trunk. The students watch and listen the video carefully and try to get it. 培养学生抓住重点，主旨的能力培养 (10’) The Second Listening Get them to listening again and get some information in detail/ branch. The students listen again and get something in detail. 能针对所听语段的内容记录细节信息 (9’) Speaking Get the Ss to retell the short story about her schooling. Students make the presentation in each group. 培养学生根据提示词能符合逻辑的表达简单内容 （5’） The Third Listening Get them to listen to the whole passage again and fill in the blanks. Students fill in the blanks, finding the answers to some difficult questions. 整体覆盖语篇，并关注前两遍未能抓到的细节 (6’)

教学反思 本节课的思考：

教学设计符合学生的学情，听说材料选择注重原汁原味，语言地道，难度适中，励志，催人奋进的作用，学生在这节课上不仅是对英语语言的学习，也是一种人文精神的培养。

教学设计合理优化，教态亲切，极大地调动了学生学习英语的积极性。小组讨论的学习方式，让学生们在合作中学会学习，培养了学生团队合作的精神。

对听力材料的处理上非常巧妙。课前的预习工作到课堂上检测的翻转课堂方式，起到很好的检测学生内化的程度；最后的表达环节目的是鼓励学生大胆表达所学内容。第二文段设计成听力， 并以mind map的形式输出，让学生有主旨和细节的意识。最后让学生通过复述来内化强化课上所学。

在听之前的预测环节，鼓励学生根据上下文推测要听的内容，训练了学生的推测这项重要的听力策略。
