Step 1: Introduce 4 basic grammar rules:

Rule 1: 一个简单句，通常有且只有____个谓语动词。

Rule 2: 简单句中，_______________等可以连接多个谓语动词。

Rule 3: 并列句中，______________________可连接多个句子，即存在多个谓语动词。

Rule 4: 复合中的从句中____________(有/没有)谓语。

Step 2: Application in Close Test. Work out the rules about when to use predicate verbs and when to use infinite verbs. And then finish the following exercises.

Conclusion 1: 在简单句中，如果__________，填谓语动词。反之，若简单句中___________，填非谓语动词

Exercise 1:

Rule 3: 并列句中，并列连词and, or, but或分号（；）可连接多个句子，即存在多个谓语动词。

Conclusion 3: 若句子为并列句，判断横线所在的分句是否有________，若没有，填谓语动词。

Exercise 3:
