(1) A study examining the children of people evacuated during the Second World War showed the daughters of female evacuees were up to four times more likely to suffer from serious mental health conditions compared to those whose parents stayed at home.

(2) In the largest inquiry ever of its kind, researchers examined the health records of 3,000 children of Finnish people evacuated to Sweden during the 1941-1945 conflict with Soviet Russia.

(3) The evacuees, many of whom were at a pre-school age, were placed with foster families in Sweden and were forced to learn Swedish, later returning to Finland.

(4) The study found that the female children of these girls had an increased risk of being hospitalized for conditions such as depression.

3. Read the materials below and know the structure of a news report and a study.

(1)“新闻报道”类文章的篇章结构

新闻的结构：包括标题、导语、主体、结语和背景五部分。前三者是主要部分，后二者是辅助部分。常见的新闻体：倒金字塔。（其中，导语是用来提示消息的重要事实，使读者一目了然；主体是随导语之后，是消息的主干，是集中叙述事件、阐发问题和表明观点的中心部分，是全篇新闻的关键所在；结语指消息的最后一句或一段话，可有可无；背景是事物的历史状况或存在的环境、条件，常插在主体部分，也插在导语或结语之中）

(2) 倒金字塔

倒金字塔结构是绝大多数客观报道的写作规则，被广泛运用到严肃刊物的写作中。在一篇新闻中，先是把最重要、最新鲜、最吸引人的事实放在导语中，导语中又往往是将最精彩的内容放在最前端；而在新闻主体部分，各段内容也是依照重要性递减的顺序来安排。犹如倒置的金字塔，上面大而重，下面小而轻（通常一段只写一个事实）。优点：1.可以快速写作。不为结构苦思；2.可以快编快删，删去最后段落，不会影响全文；3.可以快速阅读，无需从头读到尾。

(3) “研究发现”类文章的篇章结构

研究发现类文章包括：研究对象, 研究背景，研究目的，研究方法，研究过程，研究价值，研究启示或建议，研究局限性等。我们读到的大多数研究大致有以下两种：1.科学性—试验—研究; 2.社会性—调查—研究。
