Teaching procedures:
Step 1 Revision
The teacher starts the lesson with a short revision of the passage by raising some questions. And introduce the topic “how we ordinary people protect intellectual property”.
【设计说明】本课通过对上一节课文章内容的提问，进行一个简短的复习，由此得出结论“It is important and necessary to protect intellectual property”。 由此引出本堂课的主题“How can we protect intellectual property?”
Step 2 Discussion
Ask students to expression their opinions freely.

Step 3 Language focus
Allow Ss 2 minutes to read the text, underlining the useful phrases. And then focus on some the usage of some key words or phrases.
【设计说明】 鉴于高三学生的特殊情况，本堂课增加了语言点的操练，目的在于让学生在对于本话题的内容得到进一步丰富的同时，又能扎实地巩固语言知识，体现出高三复习的以新带旧的特点，提高复习的效率。
Step 4 Homework
Ask Ss to write a short passage containing the related information discussed in class. And ask students to practice reading.
