Stage 2 Pre-stage (10mins)
Step 1. Story telling
Everyone may have dreams. Some have realized them. Some may still struggle for them. Some may be confused about them. Do you have your dreams? Are you doing something to make it come true. How about ……? Please say something to us. …..(ask some students to talk about it) Now I want to tell you when I was at your age, what I was dreaming. Once my English teacher was ill, he asked me to teach my classmates to read the new words. After the class, all my classmates called me “Miss Zhang”, and if they had some problems in English, they would ask me to help them. I was glad to do it because I was happy to see the smiling faces and hear thankful words from my classmate. From that time on, I felt being a teacher can bring me happiness. So I dreamed of being an a English teacher. Several years later, now I am standing in front of you, I feel confident and joyful. On my way, there was much difficulty, sometimes I really want to give it up, but my dream came true at last.
