1. I will use Communicative Method, Audio-vision Teaching Method, Situational Teaching Method, and Task-based Teaching Method.

I will use multimedia and blackboard to make my class vivid and interesting.

Teaching procedures

Step1 Warm up

1.Brain storm

Say the food you know as quickly as you can, the picture will be clear.

[Purpose: The brain storm can bring students to my class easily and help students review what we have learned. They can stimulate students’ interest of learning English.]

Step2 Pre-writing

1.Listen and choose

a. Show a picture of Mike and ask students what Mike eats everyday.

b. Listen to the story and choose what Mike eats.

2. Read and say

Show the story of Mike and answer the questions:

a. What bad habits does Mike have?

b. Give Mike some advice.

(Have a healthy diet; Have some good habits; Do some sports)

[Purpose: I use the listening, reading and speaking here to prepare for writing. It is much easier for students to learn and grasp the main idea of the topic.]

Step3 While-writing

Task1.Look& say and write

Let students talk about “how to have a healthy diet” from the pictures and sentence structures.

a. Use the sentence: We should eat a lot of/some/a little/ a few….
