通过理解雨天小鸭子在树下躲雨的情景,帮助学生知道人们在雨天不能在树下躲雨,培养安全意识。

二、学情分析

三年级的孩子对于英语学习已经有了一定认识,也了解一些简单的词汇,对英语也有较浓厚的学习兴趣。对于和同学们的第一次接触,主要是通过各种有效的方法努力达成本节课目标。

三、教学重难点

教学重点

学生对these和those的区分。

教学难点

学生对句型“ What are these/those? They’re ____.”的运用。

四、教学过程

Step 1【Warm up】

1. Greeting. Teacher and students greet each other.

2. Teacher plays a role in baldheaded person. Teacher finds two students to act as Xiong Da and Xiong Er. They feel bored in the forest, so they go to the city and see a lot of new things. Teacher and students distinguish “these”and “those” .

(设计意图:师生通过扮演光头强和熊大、熊二的角色,进城见到了很多新鲜的事物,如玩具、天上的风筝等,通过距离远近,引出these和those,既活跃了课堂气氛,营造了和谐、宽松的学习氛围,让学生很快把注意力集中到课堂教学中来,也对重点单词进行了强化。)

Step2 【Lead in】

Teacher and students go to the park. They see trees and dragen boats and lead in the Chant.

Present the task: T: What are these? S: They are green trees. T: What are those? S: They are dragon boats.

T: Let’s listen and sing a chant about trees and boats.

(设计意图:光头强与熊大熊二见到了公园里的柳树和龙舟,这些都是新奇的事物,通过距离的远近呈现任务,明确学习目标,同时运用全身反应法和学生边唱Chant,边强化句型,一举两得。.)

Step3【Presentation】

Text presentation

Teacher and students listen to the music and think about the words: river , rain, ducks . At this time , teacher presents the text picture on the blackboard.

(设计意图:老师放音频,通过音频,学生可以猜出单词river , rain, ducks .在学生猜出的同时,老师同步在黑板上呈现新课的整体画面,为后面进入新课做了过渡和铺垫。)

Text learning

Students listen to the text.

Students listen to the text and answer the question : What can you see ?

Students read after the text and answer the question : What are the ducks doing ?

Two students will be teachers and lead to read the text, all the students think about the question: Where are the ducks hiding?

Teacher organizes students discuss : Can we hide under the tree when it is raining? After this question, teacher helps students pay attention to the safety.

(设计意图:对于新课的认知,学生们通过听课文,跟读课文,请学生当小老师带读课文等方式,在读的过程中思考问题,所出示的问题由简入难,逐步渗透,再及时跟上情感教育,让孩子们了解雨天不能躲在树下,要注意安全。)

Step4【Practice】
