【教学过程】

Step 1 Before-reading.

1.Free talk.

Questions: Do you like reading? What’s your favourite book?

【设计意图:引导全班学生进入英语课堂氛围,教师鼓励学生积极参加活动,提升他们的信心与兴趣。】

2.Talk about the cover of the book

Questions: What are they? What are they doing?

What’s the name of the book?

Who is the writer?

【设计意图:引导学生观察、谈论封面信息,培养学生捕捉图片信息的能力,促进学生积极思维,提升学生思维的开放性和准确性。】

Step 2 While –reading

1.Ss read the story and find out the answers.

Questions: How many mommies in this book? Who are they?

【设计意图:初步阅读故事文本了解故事大意,激起学生对故事文本的兴趣。】

2.(1) P2 T: What can the mother bear and her child do together?

Mommies can teach you how to ride a bicycle. 讲授teach

Discuss in pairs: My mommy can teach me how to...

Mommies can make a snowman with you.

Mommies can bake a delicious cake for your birthday.
