1.Warm-up(Revision)
用猜一猜的游戏来复习本单元前面学习过的单词,并为机器猫演唱歌曲“Where’s my hat?”。
【设计意图】猜一猜游戏可以提高学生对图后单词的兴趣,并会非常愿意思考、参与其中。利用机器猫的口吻来邀请学生们唱歌,一是可以让学生的情绪瞬间高涨,二是可以很快将学生带入英语的情境。
2.Presentation?
(1)Learn?the?new?word?“socks”?.?
D:?Thank you so much. I have a gift for you. It’s in my pocket.
T:Open it and show us. What are they?
S:socks.?
跟读三遍,跟着教师一起拼写socks,教师引导区分sock与socks。随后,利用高低音组织学生玩找袜子的游戏。
【设计意图】此环节利用游戏来吸引学生自然地说socks! s-o-c-k-s!利用游戏让学生一直重复socks的拼写,可以强化学生对单词socks的记忆,而且并不会感到厌烦,会一直保持兴趣。

教师引导学生区分these与those,并引导学生说出“I like those socks.”利用实物袜子加动作来让学生区分“I like these socks”与“I like those socks”。
【设计意图】加入实物袜子,给学生创设情境,使学生自然而然地理解其意思并能灵活运用。?
(3)Learn?the?sentence: Can we have a look at those socks, please??
T:?His socks are very cute. (指向机器猫)Do you want to look?

【设计意图】利用机器猫的袜子来吸引学生,复习lesson28课中学过的句子,并引导学生说出本课要学习的句子“Can we have a look at those socks, please?”?。
