T: This lesson we’ll go on to learn about adjectives.

Part Two Learning for use (拍摄用时1.5分钟)

T: Look at Picture 1! We have just met the lovely girl, right?

(请看图1,我们刚刚见过这个可爱的女孩,不是吗?)

T: The girl is lovely. We can also say ‘She is a lovely girl.’.

(这个女孩很可爱,我们也可以说成‘She is a lovely girl.’)

T: Now let’s look at some other pictures! Can you think of another way to express the same meaning for each of these two pictures?

(现在再让我们来看一些其它的图片!你能为每一幅图想出表达同样意思的另外一种表达方式吗?

Ss: Yes, I can. Her hair ….(现场教师指导学生讨论回答)

T: Let’s check answers together. NO.2, ‘She has short hair.’ We can also say ‘Her hair is short’. NO. 3, A lazy cat is sleeping on the sofa. That means ‘the cat is lazy.’

Part Three Rule out (拍摄用时1.5分钟)

T: Now, please look at the sentences we talked about just now carefully and read them by yourselves.

(现在,请大家认真地看一下我们刚才讨论的这些句子,并且自己读一读。)

T: I’ve divided them into two groups. Watch them carefully and try to find out where we should put an adjective in a sentence when we use them to describe things.

(老师已经把它们分成了两组。请你认真地观察并思考:当我们用形容词来描述事物时,应该把它们放在句中的什么位置呢?)

Ss: We can put an adjective ….(现场教师指导学生讨论回答)

T: Well, let’s work out the rule together!

(好!现在让我们一同来找出其中的规律吧!)

T: We use adjectives to describe someone or something. From theses sentences, we can find out that we can put an adjective before a noun or after a linking verb such as the verb ‘be’.

(我们可以用形容词来描述人或者事物。从这些句子中我们可以发现:我们把形容词放在所修饰的名词的前面作定语或者是放在一个像be动词这样的系动词的后面作表语。)

T: Have you understood what we learned just now? Now let’s do some practice!

(刚才我们所学的内容你弄懂了吗?现在让我们做一些练习!)
