Wu Gorge
Wu Gorge, sometimes called Great Gorge, is the second gorge of the Three Gorges.
Tang Dynasty poet Yang Jiong wrote a classical poem entitled "Passing Wu Gorge".
Xiling Gorge
Xiling Gorge is the largest and most downstream —eastern of the famous Three Gorges.
The Three Gorges is classified as a AAAAA scenic area by the China National Tourism Administration.
The Three Gorges span from the western—upriver cities of Fengjie and Yichang in Chongqing city—downstream to Hubei province.
There is a famous ancient poem about the Three Gorges.
