The Olympic Games are the biggest sports meeting in the world. They are held every four years. There are Summer Olympics and Winter Olympics. They were held in many cities. Here were some of them.
In 1896,the 1st summer Olympic Games was held in Athens, Greece (希腊雅典), . Only one country took part in the games. In 1976, the 21st summer Olympic Games was held in Montreal（蒙特利尔）,Canada. There were 92 countries and cities in the games. In1996, the 26th summer Olympic Games was held in Atlanta（亚特兰大）, USA. In 2008, the 29th Olympic Games was held in Beijing, China. 204 countries and cities from all over the world were in this games. “ One world, one dream” was the motto(口号) of it. At last, China has got 51 gold medals(金牌), and it had the most gold medals in all the countries.
