学情分析:

六年级的学生已经有了一定的语言基础,对于今天学习的hobby话题,学生们比较感兴趣。在课堂教学中,教师结合他们已有的英语语言基础,运用多媒体巧设情境,引导他们积极参与课堂语言实践活动,来拓展英语语言知识,发展综合语言运用能力。本课通过多媒体进行教学,为学生提供了比课本更生动更真实更丰富的资源,更容易引起学生的兴趣,在创设的真实的情境中进行语言交际,培养学生英语学科核心素养。

教学重难点:

通过多媒体创设真实情景,调动学生们多种学习方式,灵活运用句型:What’s your …’s hobby ?询问、讨论对方及他人的兴趣爱好,表达描述自己或他人兴趣爱好,灵活运用所学语言知识进行语言交际。

教学难点:如何用英语谈论家人兴趣爱好进行信息沟的真实交流。

教学活动:

Step1:Warming up融情导学,情景激趣

T: Greeting. Listen and do. I am jogging. I am running. I am drawing. I am jumping. I am clapping hands. We are reading. Reading what? Look at the blackboard: “What’s your hobby?” Ok. Today let’s learn Lesson 10. let’s go on talking about hobbies.

Look, this is Li Yan. What’s Li Yan’s hobby? Look at me. (do the action) Her bobby is taking photos.

He takes many photos. Let’s have a look.

T: What’s the boy doing? He is playing ipad. Maybe his hobby is playing ipad.

T: What’s the boy doing? He is playing basketball. I think his hobby is playing basketball.

T: What’s this man doing? He is playing skateboarding. I think his hobby is playing skateboarding.

Different people have different hobbies. Hobbies make us happy. What’s your hobby?

(设计意图:通过开始上课前的动作进行热身活动,自然进入英语课堂的学习。创设出主人公李艳喜欢拍照片,播放她拍下来的场景,现在进行时态,他们正在做的事情,推测出可能是他们的兴趣爱好的知识迁移。)

Step2: Presentation 处境入境,感知引领

Can you guess what my hobby is? My hobby is … listen. Play the English song “yesterday once more”. My hobby is listening to the radio. And I like playing WeChat, too.

I’ve got a weChat message.

It’s from Li Yan.

Learn the sentence: What’s your dad’s hobby? His hobby is planting flowers.

What’s your grandpa’s hobby? His hobby is fishing.

what’s your mum’s hobby? Her hobby is cooking meals.

Learn the cook . oo prounce /u/. try to read the words.

Listen to the chant. And read the chant together.

(设计意图:结合教师自己的兴趣点玩微信,在微信上和李艳之间的沟通内容作为突破本课学习的重点,再由母亲的爱好做饭学习语音。让孩子们进行自然拼读,再在韵律节奏中学习chant. 自然习得)

Step3:任务活动,体验互动

Let’s play a game. Who is he or she? Talk about their family hobbies.

Show some pictures of students. Choose one picture and let two of the students come to the front. Ask and answer in pairs according to the timetable.

2. Work in pairs. Use the pattern drills: What’s your… hobby? His/ her hobby is… Does he/she like… ? … what does your … like doing?...
