这是一节Phonics的短课，主要展示五年级学生在学习Phonics教学法后具备一定的学习方法，对元音字母a, i, u以及字母组合ai,aw的发音和拼读有更深层次的认识，学生能通过Phonics的学习自行看词拼读，听音能写。
教学重点及难点
元音字母a,i的发音与字母组合ai的发音辨认。

提高学生拼读单词的兴趣，通过Phonics单词拼读法，降低学生学习英语和拼写单词的困难，鼓励学生勤思考善观察勤动手。
教具准备
PPT课件，单词卡片，部分元音音素卡片
教学过程
Step1 Warming up
1. Body language-- I say, I do.边说边做。
Students do the action by saying the basic phonics of 26 letters.结合肢体语言让学生熟悉26个字母的基本音。
Brainstorm
Have a competition among groups to say the phonics of each letter out from the magic box.魔法盒子--说出字母的基本音。
Step2 Lead-in
Show a picture and ask students if they like flying a kite, then lead-in to the topic ‘Let’s make a kite.’.
Brainstorm
Lead students to think and say what a kite has: bamboo cane, picture, colorful paper and string.引导学生思考并说出制作风筝需要的材料。
Step3 Presentation
Ask students how to get the bamboo cane. Help students answer ‘cut’.
Help students read the new words “cut, draw, paint, glue, tie”by phonics.通过自然拼读的方式帮助学生学会拼读新单词“cut, draw, paint, glue, tie”。
Then help students to say and remember the new words by body language.引导学生借助肢体语言说出并记住新单词。
Step4 Consolidation
Game 1 :Carrot squat.萝卜蹲游戏。
Game 2: Talk quietly.快乐传声游戏。
Write down the new words on the blackboard with the help of some pictures. Ask students to put out their fingers and write the words in the air. 借助图片和四线格引导学生用手指在空中书写本课所学新单词。
Step5 Summary
Ask students how to make a kite. Summarize the verbs about how to make a kite.和学生一起小结本节课所学的有关怎样制作风筝的单词。
Step6 Extension
Encourage students to think more, practice more and then they can study better. 鼓励学生多思多练。
