Step 1 Warming up

1.Greetings

2.Sing a song:

Head, shoulders, knees and toes

Step 2 Pre-reading

1.Lead-in

T: You can sing and dance very well, She can dance very well too.

Look! Who is she?

Ss: She is Lingling.

T: What did Lingling do?

Ss: Lingling danced in the dancing room.

T:< Show a picture of Anne> How about Anne? What did Anne do?

Ss: Anne watched Lingling.

T: Can you guess? What did Anne want to do?

Ss: Anne wanted to dance.

T: Yes, Anne wanted to dance like Lingling. Anne wanted to dance .

2. Free talk

(1) T: Anne wanted to dance. What did this boy want to do ?

Ss: He wanted to stand on one foot.

(2) T: What about this boy? What did he want to do ?

Ss: He wanted to read a story.
