(1) watch意为“观看，注视”，后接名词或代词作宾语，而且后面常带有宾语补足语，常有以下两种情况：
watch sb. do sth. 强调动作的完成
watch sb. doing sth. 强调动作正在进行。
Eg: I watch him go into the classroom.
我看到他进了教室。
I watched the boys playing basketball on the playground.
我看着那些男孩们正在操场上打篮球。
(2) look for意为“寻找”，强调找的动作，过程。
Eg: We are looking for the missing book.
我们正在找丢失的书。
(3) 由look构成的固定短语：
look after照顾，照看 look around 到处 look up 查，仰视 look at看 look out当心

on作介词，可用在具体的某一天前。
Eg: on Monday在星期一
on Sunday morning在星期日的早晨
