活动1【导入】导入新课，板书课题
导入语： Good morning,class. Welcome to Animal World. Today Let’s walk into the world of animals to know about some amazing animals. Let’s play a video.
(设计思路： 用有关奇异动物的视频导入新课，为学生创造轻松愉快的学习气氛,激发学生的好奇心,为学习新课做好铺垫。)
活动2【先学后教】 Have a dication about the new words and phrases.
（设计思路：以汉语形式呈现本课重点单词及短语，检查学生的自学情况。要求B类（中等生）学生板书单词，C类（后进生）板书短语，A类学生对重点单词及短语进行解释造句。教师及时点拨重点知识： mouse的复数。 lay的过去式及过去分词。 be famous for和be famous as的区别。通过学生展示学习成果及教师点拨，突破教学重点1.）
活动3【活动】Listening

Read the lesson and answer the questions.

(设计思路:让学生读课文进一步理解课文内容，培养学生的归纳概括，提取关键信息的能力，突破教学重点二。并且为顺利突破本课难点打基础。在此环节中要使学生增强合作意识，并且能勇于表达自己的看法。A类学生主要来辅导C类学生完成此题。)
活动5【活动】Group work
Students work in groups and finish Let’s Do It No.3. Then play a game in groups: Help the imformation cards find the right places, then glue them on the blackboard.
(设计思路:让学生再次读课文，在完成课后第三题的基础上，以游戏的形式让学生将一些迷路的卡片送回家，把有关四种动物的信息贴在相应的位置。A类学生完成课后第三题并背诵重点句子，B类和C类学生讨论将卡片粘贴在黑版的正确位置，形成板书。在学生完成活动后教师总结课文，提示学生要保护动物。并且要让学生了解如何描述动物，需要注意到动物名称、栖息地、外貌特征等方面的表达方式。)
活动6【展示】Introduce their animal family
Ask students to act the amazing animal family and introduce them in front of the class.
（设计思路:让A类学生扮演其中一种动物家族，来运用提供的描述动物的框架向全班同学介绍他们的家族,达到英语的整理和输出。介绍时用第一人称可以提高学生的兴趣,达到乐学、趣学的效果。)2-n-j-y
