1.Greeting

Lead in

In this unit, we have learned the internet, do you like the Internet? what do you do on the internet? By showing the pictures which stands for the advantages and disadvantages for the internet, we can lead this topic.

Show the learning goals

1.Knowledge goals:Grasp new word and phrases:

advantage, simple, coin, cause, less, steal,

be able to, in seconds,, aside from, get sth. done, take up, be harmful to,

2.Ability goals: students can talk about the advantages and disadvantages in English.

3.Emotional goals:through the learning, the students can treat the Internet properly.

Pre-reading

①Let the students read the words one by one;

advantage, simple, coin, cause, less, steal,

②The students follow the teacher to read the words;

③The students read the words together and remember the words.

Then the students finish the exercise:

1. Nowadays, it is______(简单的) and easy to use the Internet.

2. As we all know, every _____(硬币) has two sides.

3. The internet has so many a________。

4. Using the internet too much has ______(引起)a lot of problems.

While-reading

①When the students do the first reading, they need to finish the chart below.

③After the discussing, they should do the second reading, in this part, they should find the strange phrases;

④The students refers to the strange words, then they discuss them each other, at last, the students ask the teacher the strange words:
