五、教学目标:

1. 语言知识目标:

掌握和正确使用下列单词和词组:cartoon, handsome, smart, fight, cool, hero, humorous, can’t help doing sth. laugh

掌握和正确使用下列句型:We’ve finished our homework. It’s time to watch a cartoon.

2、能力目标:能在听懂关于谈论做完作业后该看什么卡通片的对话的同时能模仿对话介绍自己喜欢的卡通人物。

3、情感目标:通过学习有关对话,培养学生将英语运用到日常会话中的能力。

六、教学重、难点:熟练运用本课新词及句型,理解不同时态的语句的功能差异,灵活运用不同和时态。

七、教学过程:

Step 1: Lead-in

1. Warming up

Hello, boys and girls! How are you? Nice to see you! It’s a nice day, isn’t it? At first, let’s watch a video.

2. Lead in and present: What’s the cartoon about? What’s the name of the cartoon? What do you think of the cartoon?( Talk about the video with the students)

设计目的:利用学生熟悉的功夫熊猫动画片来激起学生的兴趣,从而引出本课的主题。

Step 2: New words

Learn the new words by showing the students some pictures.

First, read after the teacher. Then read together and then read in groups. Finally, read the words one by one.

设计目的:扫清单词障碍,为下一步的听力和对话训练做好准备,让学生在课堂上能更有自信地进行对话。

Step 3 Freely talk

Show the students some questions and ask them to discuss the questions with their partners. And then act it out.

设计目的:通过问答方式让学生初步理解本课内容。

Step 4 Do the listening in Activity 2 (Listen and choose the best answer)

1. What kind of cartoons does Betty like?

A. Spiderman B. Superman C. Tom and Jerry.

2. Does Tony like the same cartoons as Betty?

A. Yes, he does.

B. No, he doesn’t.

C. We don’t know.

3. What do they think of Tom and Jerry?

A. Funny. B. Cute. C. Handsome.
