二、教学重点和难点

重点:通过训练学生的听、说、读、写能力,掌握状语从句。

难点:正确运用because, so和so that引导状语从句。

三、教学过程

Step 1 Warm up

Show a video about a speech and talk about it.

Show some heroes’ pictures.

Step 2 Present (Activity 1)

让学生讨论:Who is your hero? (出示邓亚萍图片)Who is the person? Why is she famous? 学生两人一组活动,补充和交流信息。

Step 3 Listen (Activity 2)

在开展听力活动之前,教师可先引导学生学会通过who, where, what等引导的问题预测听力内容。

Ask students to read the questions and choose the correct answers.

Play the recording and answer the questions.2·

Check the answers.

Step 4 Listen and read (Activities 3, 4)

Watch a video and answer a question.
