Warm-up

1.Welcome the student to do a report.

2.Show the learning aims.1. The student who do the report asks two questions about her report, shows the video of her travel,and then do the report.

The other students watch the video, listen to the report and answer the questions.

2.Read the learning aims loudly.

Arouse the students’ interest and let students know what we should grasp in this unit.Step 2

Pre-listening

Check the new words.

Show the listening tips .

One student will finish the word test on the screen,the others will finish it in their learning paper and check the answers each other.

Learn the listening tips. Enable the students to grasp the words and sentence patterns of Unit 1, compare modes of transportation, so that they can understand the dialog better.Step3

While-listening

1.Show the questions of Dialogue 1 on the screen. Play Dialogue 1.

2.Show the questions about Dialogue 2 on the screen. Play Dialogue 2.

3.Show the dialog video.1.Look through the questions quickly and listen to the dialog. When they listen t o the tape, try to write down the key information by using the listening tips..

2.Listen to Dialog 2 and choose the best answer. Play again if necessary.

3. Watch the dialog video carefully and pay attention to the pronunciation. Then complete the table.

Train the students’ ability of listening step by step.

Enable them to understand the conversation by using different listening skills.

Step 4

Post-listening

1.Have a reading competition and show the assessment criterion.

2. Let the students discuss the language points in group.

3. Lead them know how to talk about travel experiences by using miniclass.
