Step1. Greetings and review

T: How are you ?

S: Fine,thanks.And you?

T: Very well,thank you.Ok,boys and girls,look at the blackboard.This is a map.Who can help me find the way?Where is the school?(让学生根据地图出示的地点进行问路对话练习)

S: Excuse me, where is the school?

S: Go straight and turn left. There’s the school.

(设计意图:通过师生间简短对话,营造一种轻松的氛围。通过出示地图让学生进行问路的对话练习,进一步加深学生对上节课所学知识的认识,又为本节课的新授埋下伏笔。)

Step2. New Concepts

Part one:

Words:

T: Just now we have talked about how to find a way. There are many ways to get around. Some are fast and some are slow. Today let’s learn how to talk about going from one place to another place. It’s fun.

T: How do you get to school everyday?

SS: 自行车、步行、公交车……

T: Who can draw this picture, please come here.

(设计意图:通过叫志愿者在黑板上指定位置画出交通工具,活跃了课堂气氛,让我为引出新单词做了准备。)

T: Ok, now let’s look at some new words about the vehicle. I’ll write the words beside the pictures.(教师板书bike , taxi, car, bus)
