一、Review some words and lesson hook.
（一）Count numbers from one to twenty.
（二）Review words:in on under between beside in front of behind.
(设计目的：让学生快速融入课堂，并能整节课自信大胆的讲英语。)
课前引入。
How many days are there in a week?How many months are there in a year?Do you know month? Teach month and mouth.Today our class is about twelve months .OK,first let’s listen to a song about months.
(设计目的：以歌曲的形式开始本节课的教学内容，让学生们有一个简单放松的课堂，让他们更好地投入到下一环节。)
二、Teach New Lesson
（一）Teach new words.
1.Show power point to teach new words one by one.Then write words on the blackboard.(告诉学生们月份的开头字母大写以及缩写形式。）
2.Read new words.
3.Look at pictures and guess.
T:Which months are in this picture?
4.Practice sentences:What’s your favourite month? My favourite month is...(出示幻灯片，师问学生答。）
（二）Let’s sing.
1.Listen to the tape once.
2.Sing a song follow the tape.
(设计目的：歌曲的设置让学生们在前半节课的学习中可以稍微的放松一下，同时巩固十二个月份的表达，愉快的进入下一个环节的学习。)
Teach new sentences.
1.Show power point to present new sentences,translate whose.
2.Read the new sentences follow the teacher.
3.Ask and answer.(师问，要求生日在那个月份的所有同学站起来，逐一回答)
4.Ask one student to come in the front of the classroom,choose one month card,first read the card,then ask classmates:My birthday is in ______. Whose birthday is in ________?(多叫几组同学，反复练习新句型。）
5.Ask whose birthday is in March? Sing birthday songs for them.

Homework
