Grade 3 students usually are between age of 9 to 10, they are usually playful but with little English-learning experience. They are not fluent in English, Some even don't dare to speak. It's quintessential to appreciate their progress and develop their interest in learning english by encouraging them to speak confidently, practice actively and sing loudly.

本课的教学对象是三年级学生,此阶段学生天真活泼,好奇心强,有较强的模仿能力和求知欲望,而且富有一定的逻辑思维能力,对英语的喜欢已初步体现出个性。但在单词的学习过程中,还是较容易出现发音不到位或发音不准确的语音错误。

活动1【导入】Step I.Warm up & Revision

1. Greetings.(拉近师生距离)

2. Play a game : I say you do.(利用TPR游戏进行热身)

The teacher uses the game to review the words: in, on, under.

3. PPT:Where is Zip? Zip is behind the desk. Teach the new word “behind”,then ask one student come to the front and say “I’m behind you ”.

4.Where is Zoom? On the desk? In the toy box? Yes, Zoom is in the toy box.

There are many toys in it. It’s a bed. Teach the new word “bed”.

But where is Zip? Zip Zip, where are you? I can’t find you. Here here. I’m here.

Zip is behind the blackboard.

活动2【讲授】Step II.Presentation

1. Present Zip’s room.

T: What’s in Zip’s room? Ss: A bed/toy box/table.

Teach the new word“table”. (区分table 和desk)

2. Guess: What game is it?

Watch the song, students sing and play. Teach: Hide and seek.

3. Listen to the first part of the story with PPT and try to imitate.

Zip: Let’s play hide and seek

Zoom: Great.
