Teaching keys points and difficult points

Key points:理解Story time部分的故事。朗读故事。理解新句子:Anything else? Here’s your bill.

Difficult points:是让部分学生在理解的基础上表演故事,还能结合以前学过的一些语言恰当的改编对话,并在实际生活中运用。

Teaching procedures

Step 1、Warm up

1.Greetings.

2.free talk.

1) How are you?

2) What’s the weather like today?

3. Sing a song: What would you like to eat today?

4. Play a game:Sharp eyes.

(设计意图:通过师生间的亲切的问候,拉近彼此间的距离,增进师生情感.接着通过歌曲的吟唱以及游戏的引入,初步激活了学生的思维品质,不但活跃了课堂气氛,也将同学们的注意力集中到本节课的学习中来了.)

Step 2.Presentation.

lead in

T: It’s 11 o’clock. I am a little hungry.Are you hungry?

Ss: Yes.

T:Ok. Let’s go to Mr cat’s restaurant.This is Mr cat’s menu. There are so many delicious food on it. Who is hungry? The teacher asks some students with “Hello! What would you like?” and answers by “ I’d like some...”

2、New teaching

Then the teacher asks “ Anything else?,” “How much is/are the...? ” and “ Here is your bill”.

(设计意图:教师通过创设设计特定的点餐场景,让孩子从感官上体会对话内容,通过肢体语言跟配备的教学道具,对于新句型Anything else? and Here’s your bill 的理解与掌握,老师在情境对话中很自然流畅的进行了引导与展示,培养孩子获取信息的能力。)

Practice

The teacher asks two students to do the pair work by using the sentence patterns:
