Teaching procedures:

Step1 Warm-up and lead in

A Do some exercises and sing “if you are happy”together.(通过和老师一起做运动和唱歌,有效拉近师生距离,同时活跃课堂气氛)

Step2 Presentation

a The teacher present the pictures and lead the vocabulary one by one,using PPT(通过图片展示,直观形象,符合小学生的年龄和心理特征)

b The teacher present a picture which includes a fork, chopsticks,knife,soup and so on.

c Present the word cards

Step3 Practise

a The boys and girls role-read the vocabulary ,using high and low voice.(通过男女生分角色的大小声读单词,积极有效的提高学生注意力的同时,学生的合作学习能力也得到提高)

b Play some games to practise these words, such as read words and point to the right picture, take a deep breathe and read the word as many times as possible(通过让学生上讲台配合一个读单词一个指相应的图片,和一口气说单词等游戏,活跃课堂气氛的同时,充分发挥学生的主体地位,也兼顾到新课程倡导的关注每一位学生的发展,让学生寓学于乐)

c Present a picture of many delicious foods made by myself and ask students:What would you like? Then clap hands and practise the sentences: “Pass me a fork. Here you are. Thank you.”(通过展示自己做的食物,无形中拉近师生距离,让学生产生亲切感,拍手打节奏的训练句型体现了小学英语里的全身反应法,实践证明通过全身反应法学生更容易得牢固掌握所学知识)

d Pass a fork to a student to set an example to others and practise the sentences: Pass me a fork. Here you are. Thank you.

e Ask students to stand face to face to clap their hands to read the sentences.

Step 3 Production

a Ask students to work in groups, making dialogues.(通过分组合作,提高学生的探究合作学习能力,有效把知识从输入变成输出)

b Play a game: pass the toy(老师唱歌,学生一个接一个传玩具,歌声一停,谁得到玩具的学生和他的同伴一起给大家分享他们小组的表演,让学生积极参与课堂活动,检验课堂教学教学效果的同时也关注到了每一位孩子)

c Listening Listen to the video and answer the questions(听说读写全面发展)

Step4 Summary

a The teacher have a summary of what we have learned

b Sing “What would you like to eat today?” to end today’s class.
