Teaching procedures:

Step1. Warm up

Greetings and free talk.

Step 2. Pre-reading.

1.T will show some pictures of some parks and lead in: the nature park.

2.T will ask : What can you see in the picture?

Ss will be guided to use the sentence structures “:”There is a /an …”and “There are …”

3.Chant together .

Step3. While-reading.

1.Skimming reading

T will lead the students to listen to the tape and then ask a simple question” Is there a park near the house?

2.Scanning reading

Ss will be asked to read the text after the tape and answer some questions:

1)What is in the park?

2)Where is the village?

3)Where is the lake?

4)What is on the lake?

3. T will ask Ss to read the text aloud by themselves and then read together.

Step 4. Post-reading.

1.T will lead Ss to retell the story .y·com

2.T will ask Ss to draw and describe their own nature park on the paper.

3.Love animals and the nature.

Step 5 . Homework.
