Step 1 Lead-in

Ss listen to the song about the goldfish.

Step 2 Presentation

1. A guessing game.

T: Read the phrases and guess what the animal is.

3. Why do you like your pet?

Ss work in pairs,talk about their favourite pet.

Step 3 Listening

1. A survey.

T: Ask and answer in pairs.

Can you put a goldfish in the sun?

Does it need clean water?

Can you take it out of the water?

Does it need special fish food?
