(To review what they have known and arouse their learning interest).

Step2.Pre-reading

Read a poem about goldfish. Recite if possible.

(Further review the Reading part in order to prepare the Ss for the following listening task.)

Step3.While-listening

Show T/F questions about the talk in Part A1 and introduce listening skills--go through the questions quickly&predict the key words to the Ss.

Listen to Part A1 twice and check the prediction and the answer.

Deal with some important language points.

(By doing this to pave the way to better understanding.)

Listen to Part A2 twice and check the answer.

Read and check the understanding and the memory as well.

Step4. Post-listening

1. Complete the exercises with the informaton in Part A2.

2. Check the answer and read together

3. Make a summary of the goldfish.

Step5. Activities

Introduce more information about goldfish.

2. Play a guessing game to show more animals,
