Teaching procedures:

Step One: Free talk and warm up

To talk about some amazing things about animals (Unit 5)

To tell each other their favourite animals.

To match the following animals

What’s your favourite animal,why?

【课件设计方法】课堂教学以生生对话,师生对话的形式展开,活跃气氛,拉近距离,做好铺垫。

【设计意图】选取学生所了解的动物信息以及图片让学生进行匹配练习(用笔工具连线)。

Step Two: Show pictures about “dogs”

【课件设计方法】以图片呈现狗的图片,以图片引出生词,同时熟悉狗的习性以吸引学生学习兴趣,

【设计意图】通过插入手段导入图片,利用隐藏功能呈现单词。

Step Three: Present the first poem about “My dog”

Listen and understand

Some questions about “My Dog”.

Read and explain the words in the poem rhyme.

To finish a short passage about according the poem

【设计意图】:教师先让学生听读第一首诗,依据内容回答问题。让后介绍诗歌中部分单词的押韵。教师可以示范朗读,也可邀请学生一起朗读。最后把诗歌改为短文的形式让学生填空。

5.To read together and then complete B2 on page 95.

【课件设计方法】从配套软件中选取图片,用遮盖功能呈现。

Step Four: Present the second poem about “My goldfish”.

Free talk about goldfish. Questions like:Do you keep any goldfish at home? How many?What colour?How often do you feed them?How often do you change the water?

Some questions with “Does a goldfish…?”

Some questions about “My goldfish?

Present the poem by reading alone then to complete B3 on page 96.

Listen to the poem and find the words rhyme.

Step Five: To ask Ss to read the two poem ,practise reading.And they can have a competition about reading the poems.

【设计意图】:教师带领学生反复进行诗歌的朗读,为激发兴趣,可组织学生进行小组或个人之间的朗读比赛,选出最流利奖、最优美奖、最准确奖等。

Step Six: To complete B1 ,let Ss know what are poem like?
