Step1.lead-in

Show some pictures of students and ask where they are.

T: Here are some photos, let’s enjoy them.

T:Where are you in this photo?

Ss:We are on the stage.

T: Where are you in this photo?

Ss:We are in the classroom.

T:Where are … in this photo?

Ss:……

〖 设计意图:出示学生们自己的照片,他们会觉得亲切且熟悉,而且通过对照片中人物方位的提问,轻松地导入了课文。〗

Step2.Review

Show some pictures of Mr. Monkey to review some preposition that we have learned before.

(on, in, between, behind, in front of, near, next to, under)

2.Let's chant

T: Where is Mr. Monkey?

Ss:He is on the desk.

He is in the box.

He is next to the house.

He is between the dogs.

He is behind the door.

He is under the tree.

1.Teach the students to do hand exercises.
