学生在平时的学习中早已接触过由because引导的原因状语从句的用法，本单元通过系统梳理及补充学习 since, as, because of,使清晰明了原因状语从句的使用。
三．教学目标
1.语言目标
1)The students will be able to tell what is an adverbial clause of reason .
2)The students will be able to find out what are the conjunctions used in Adverbial clauses of reason and in what situation a comma is needed.
3) The students will be able to distinguish the usages of the adverbial clauses of reason and because of .
4) The students will be able to tell the different usages of since in the adverbial clause of reason and of the adverbial clause time.

指导学生观察、对比、分析、归纳出原因状语从句的用法，并在实践运用中熟练运用。
五．教学难点
1.Because 与since 和 as在引导原因状语从句时的异同；以及because of与because 的用法区别。
2.since 在原因状语从句与在时间状语从句中的不同用法。
六．教学策略
引导学生积极主动地弄明通过自主学习就可以学会的内容，课堂中点拨学习内容中的重难点，通过复习及归纳总结,学生能清晰明了原因状语从句及because of 的使用，能准确完成Book B & A相关语法练习。
