After answering the two questions, the teacher asks, “Can we use our noses to find the way?”

The students answer, “No, we can’t.” Then the teacher says, “So we need the map to find our way.”

Learn some simple instructions.

(2)traffic lights, crossing, zebra crossing;

3. Learn how to describe the pictures.

(1) a. Cross the bridge and turn left.

(2) a. Take the first turning on the left. = Turn left at the first turning.

b. Take the second turning on the right. = Turn right at the second turning.

(3) a. Cross the road.

b. Cross the road at the zebra crossing.

拓展: Two women are walking past the shop.

Walk to the fast food shop.

Step2 Presentation

Finish Part A1 on page 49.

Ask students to listen to the tape and choose the correct picture.

2. Play a game called Looking for treasure.

Ask students to speak out the route to catch the members in Running Man to find out the treasure.

3. Finish Part A2 on page 49.

Ask students to read all the sentences in Part A2 before listening .Then ask students to listen to the tape to put the sentences into correct order.

4. Underline some phrases and read them.

5. Finish Part A3 on page 50.

Ask students to listen to the tape again and draw the route to the treasure. Then ask students to speak out the route one by one.

Step 3. Speak up

1. Daniel and Millie are talking about an activity this Saturday afternoon. Listen to the conversation and answer two questions.
