Interact with the teacher由于借班上课，为了拉近与学生的距离，同时让学生顺利地进入本节课的话题。课前播放Manners 歌曲，激发学生的兴趣，激活相关的背景知识，为学生尽快进入上课状态做好铺垫。进入上课状态时，和学生互动，让学生直接站起来，说出在不同情境中的交际用语，即是一种互动，也自然创设了学生熟悉的情境，引出本课话题 “manners”。

Ask students to listen to the conversation between Eddie and Hobo, and answer two questions.

(2)Work out the dialogue(1)在问题的引领下，学生听读对话的意识得到了培养。学生在听时，在白纸上记录问题的答案，避免只听不记，弄不清大意。学生在任务的指引下，更好地理解对话大意。
(2)八年级学生思维敏捷，活泼好动，乐于探究事物，他们也都愿意模仿Eddie和Hobo表演对话。学生表演Eddie 与Hobo 的对话时，把2只狗的语气和感情表演地很到位，并且有一组学生还加了一些有创意的元素。

通过创设情境，让学生在真实的情境中消化语言，学生的思维被激活，更加愿意参与课堂，通过在情境中运用知识，轻松地掌握了语言知识。
教师通过图片和口头提问，直观地帮助学生把握知识导图的框架结构，把散乱的语言知识，并架构了一个与主题相关的网络，对学生学习新知起到了良好的支架作用。
通过听礼仪，学生了解了图书馆的好坏礼仪,利用情境，学生可以猜测所学新单词的含义。加强学生对对话内容的理解，在知识与能力之间架起了桥梁，培养学生捕捉信息的能力。
(4) 学生编写的对话内容贴近实际生活，学生愿意参与对话，在合作交流中运用知识，提高综合语言运用的能力。学生学以致用，教学活动也实现了从输入到输出的转接。
(5) 学生四人为一组，讨论什么是好礼仪。此活动可以激活学生的思维，巩固语言知识。活动中学生的小组合作意识和探索精神得到了培养。当任务完成后，教师及时地给予恰当的评价，从而使学生树立自信、增强兴趣。课堂中有很多精彩的生成。
