Know you and me

1) Greet students and watch a video.

2) Brainstorm what kinds of foods they know.

3) Discuss which food is healthy.

设计意图:Attract students’ attention and get students warmed up then lead in to the topic.

Step 2 Before reding

Know her

1) From the picture intruduce Cindy Smith to present new words and phrases.

设计意图:Make students know the news words and phrases well and make the reading easier .

使学生很好知道生单词,使下面的阅读变得容易。

2) Guess

From the title guess what fruit Cindy likes and what food Cindy dislikes.

设计意图:Get students’ interested in reading this passage.

吸引学生读这篇文章的兴趣。

Step 3 While- reading

1)Read the passage fast in silence and get the main idea of the passage.

设计意图:Developing the students’ ability to conclude .

培养学生通过标题首尾句找文章主旨。

2) Listen the passage,find out the missing words..

设计意图:Get Ss accustomed to the passage quickly and develop the students’ ability of getting information from listening materials quickly.

使学生快速进入语境中并培养学生根据听力快速寻找答案能力

3) Read carefully and put the food words in the chart.
